Founder & Creative Director | 06.20 – 06.21
I founded Childish during the global pandemic to address 2 gaps in the design industry - first, the lack of entry-level opportunities for new design graduates at a strange time and second, affordable branding services for cash-strapped start-ups trying to do something good. As Founder & Creative Director,  I ran all business operations, provided creative direction, design, and mentoring, whilst also managing customer relationships with purpose-driven brands like Fiils, Mamamade, and the Special Olympics UK, while offering new graduates with paid design internships. With 100% of its graduates successfully hired into full-time roles.  Childish achieved its mission and has ceased operations.

Senior Freelance Designer | 06.19 – 09.19
Working with the London team on a number of briefs for various drinks brands looking into sustainable futures and innovation.

Creative Lead | 10.18 – 06.19
My role at Uniform was to direct and oversee the creative output of a select family of clients. Clients I worked with included Ideal Standard, Innocent, Disney, and Bedrock Gin. Inspiring others to produce compelling work whilst also taking a hands-on approach is a daily balancing act that lead to some great work and helped me develop both as a designer and a leader.

Senior Freelance Designer | 07.18 – 10.18
At Waitrose, I was hired as a consultant to design the new campaign for Spring Summer 2019. This campaign was called Scrumptious Summer and is still running today due to its sucess.

Senior Freelance Designer | 10.17 – 07.18
At Taxi, I contributed to a number of great projects such as the Carlsberg rebrand, various Nestle Water campaigns and work for Uniball pen company.

Various Agencies (Freelance)

Senior Freelance Designer | 05.16 - 10.17
A 2 year period of short stints at a number of agencies in London, Melbourne and Bristol. Agencies included Hoyne, Traffic, Cassete, and Savi, & Stepladder

Design Lead | 02.14 - 05.16
At Spinach I oversaw the work of 2 other designers, managing the design process, giving feedback, presenting to clients, and liaising with the Creative Director whilst also leading on a number of branding projects for Knight Frank, Ichibuns, and Racing Green.

Designer | 01.15 - 02.14
At VCCP I was able to work on some really large campaigns for brands such as EasyJet, O2, Hiscox, and many more. This experience helped me understand the bigger picture of how creativity and business sit side by side.

Junior Designer | 01.15 - 02.14
My first design role played a huge role in my understanding of the industry. This was a small boutique agency working on campaigns, branding, and annual report design. I was trusted to liaise with clients, gain an understanding of the design process and build excellent presenting skills.

Ravensbourne University London

Sessional Lecturer | 09.20 – 05.21
Lecturing first-year design students once a week across a number of different topics such as art direction, typography, layout, photography, animation, and more.

Guest Lecturer | 02.21
A lecture about the importance of nonsense highlighting the problems social media and self-image can cause to the creative process. Sometimes we need to care a lot less and enjoy the happy accidents.

Full-Time Design Lecturer | 09.19 – 05.20
A year to give back! I decided to spend a year teaching full-time at this great design school. The institute is modeled around agency life and students work on hypothetical briefs in a studio environment from 8-5 every day for 3 months. Teaching gave me a new sense of creativity, helped me understand how to be creatively selfless and how to be a good mentor. Plus, it was also great to re-sharpen some of my own processes.
